What is collected, and why
| Order details | Your name, email, phone and delivery address. Collected when you place an order, because a parcel cannot be addressed or a delivery confirmed without them. |

| Page counts | We count how many times each page and each piece is opened, added to a basket and ordered, which search terms are typed, and whether a visit arrived from a link or an ad. These are counts, not records of you. No cookie is set, nothing that identifies you is stored, and what is kept is a daily total per page — a number that cannot be taken apart into individual people or visits. We do not store your IP address or your browser's user-agent for this. It stays on our own server and is sent to nobody. |
There are no accounts and no passwords on this site. No payment is taken online — we contact you to arrange payment, so no card or bank details are entered here or held by us.
Third parties
Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. That request tells Google your IP address and which page you are on.
It is the only third-party request the site makes.
This site also runs Google Analytics, through Firebase. It records which pages you open, which pieces you look at and when something is added to a basket, so we can see what the shop is doing. It sets cookies in your browser and the data is held by Google, not by us, under Google’s own terms. It does not receive your name, address, phone number or email — those are only ever sent when you place an order, and they go to us.
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, this is not loaded at all. Any tracker-blocking extension will also stop it, and the shop works normally either way.
This site also runs the Meta Pixel. It reports to Meta (Facebook, Instagram) when you view a product, choose a colourway, add something to the basket or start checkout, so that our advertising can be measured. Meta may match this to your account if you have one. You can limit it in your Meta account under Ads settings, or block it with any tracker-blocking extension — the shop works normally either way.
No advertising or analytics trackers run on this site. No Meta Pixel, no Google Analytics, no advertising cookies.
The page counts described above are our own: they are collected by this site, stored on this site, and shared with no one. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, nothing is counted at all.
How long it is kept
Order records are kept for eight years, because tax and GST law requires books to be retained for that long. Anything not tied to an order is deleted when you ask.
Daily page counts are kept for about 13 months, so one year can be compared with the last, and then deleted. There is nothing in them to identify, so there is nothing in them to remove on request.
Who else sees it
Your delivery address goes to the courier carrying your parcel. Nothing is sold, rented or shared for anyone else's marketing. Our suppliers never receive your details — we place our own orders with them, and they contain no customer information.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be erased where we are not required to keep it, and withdraw a consent you gave. Write to — and we will answer within 30 days.
Complaints
Our Grievance Officer is —, —. Complaints are acknowledged within 48 hours and resolved within one month, as the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 require. If you are not satisfied you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will say so on this page and update the date at the top.
